Labi is a town in the Belait District of Brunei.

Labi is a settlement in the forested hinterland of the country, and is where you can visit a few nature reserves including the Sungai Liang Forest Recreational Park and Luagan Lalak Forest Reserve.

Other sights at Labi includes the Iban longhouse, which is open to visitors, including the Rumah Panjang Mendaram Besar and Rumah Panjang Teraja. A 20-minute walk from the main road takes you to Wasai Wong Kadir Waterfall.

From Rumah Panjang Teraja, you can continue hiking to reach Sungai Teraja and then Bukit Teraja, the tallest hill in the area.

Getting there

It may be sensible to make arrangements with a travel agency in Bandar Seri Begawan. Otherwise, you definitely need to rent a car to get you around.
