Roluos Group Guide

Roluos Group is the name given to a group of ancient Angkor monuments located in proximity to the present-day village of Roluos. There are three main ruins at Roluos that are frequented by visitors, namely Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei.

The ruins of the Roluos Groups were temples that were constructed when the ancient Khmers created their first settlement in the Angkor region. That ancient kingdom at Roluos is called Hariharalaya.

Getting there

Roluos Group is about 13 kilometers east of Siem Reap. Take Route 6 for 13 km. The first group, comprising Preah Ko, Bakong and Prei Monti, is located south of Route 6. Look out for the turning in with a signpost. Lolei is on the north side of Route 6 about 400 meters farther on.
