Beijing Zoo & Aquarium is not the most attractive zoos in the world. It is a zoo from the bygone era, when animals are kept in concrete or glass cages. Nevertheless it is one of those zoos where visitors can get to view the Giant Panda.

One of the attractions of Beijing Zoo is its gigantic aquarium. One can view scenes of the coral reefs as well as the rainforest. The marine life kept here include whales, dolphines and sharks.

How to reach the Beijing Zoo

Beijing Zoo is located at 137 Xizhi Men Wai Dajie, in Haidian, Beijing. Take the subway to the Xizhi Men station, then take a taxi from there. The zoo is open daily from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
