Cenotaph, Hong Kong
The Hong Kong Cenotaph commemorates those who died in wars fought by the British. Located between Statue Square and the Hong Kong City Hall, it was constructed in 1923. Its design is almost exactly the same as the London Cenotaph at Whitehall, except that the Hong Kong one has eight Chinese characters on it. The cenotaph was originally erected to remember those who perished in World War I, but subsequently those who died in World War II were also commemorated by it.

As the Hong Kong Cenotaph is closely tied to British rule in Hong Kong, no official ceremonies have been held there since the colony reverted by to Chinese rule in 1997. Nevertheless informal celebrations by the locals and British servicemen continue to be held here from time to time.
List of British Cenotaphs
Here are some of the cenotaphs erected by the British that I have documented so far.
