Repulse Bay (淺水灣) is a bay on the southern part of Hong Kong Island, between Deep Water Bay to the west and South Bay to the east. Between Repulse Bay and Deep Water Bay is an islet called Middle Island.
Repulse Bay is said to have been named after pirates hiding out in the bay were successfully repulsed from the area by the British.
