Children of Srinagar, Kashmir, India

World / India / Jammu and Kashmir

I find the children of Srinagar absolutely adorable, friendly and photogenic. You can see them in the streets, coming up to you, being friendly as innocent children do. Most of them have not developed a self-consciously about being photographed, and they willingly pose for pictures.

The children of the caretaker of my boathouse were equally cute. My caretaker has two children, Shahil and Diam. They would run around the platform of the boathouse, peeking into my temporary "home" with much curiosity.
