Herod's Gate is an entrance into Old Jerusalem from the north side. Herod's Gate is also known as in Arabic as the Flower Gate as well as the Gate of the Little Field while in Hebrew it is known as Sha'ar Prachim. It was given by pilgrims who thought incorrectly that it led to Herod's Palace. This happened much later when the Mameluke edifice nearby was thought to be Herod's Palace.

The crusader Godfrey of Boullion successfully penetrated Jerusalem through Herod's Gate in July 1099.
