The Ginza Line (G) 銀座線 is a subway line of the Tokyo Subway operated by Tokyo Metro. The 14.3 km line serves the wards of Shibuya, Minato, Chuo, Chiyoda and Taito.

The Ginza Line was the brainchild of a Tokyo businessman, Noritsugu Hayakawa, who established the Tokyo Underground Railway after seeing the London Underground in 1914. Services began in 1927 between Ueno and Asakusa. The line was first known as the Ginza Line in 1953.

Serving the residential, commercial and business districts of Tokyo, the Ginza Line is often overcrowded, running at 168% above capacity, accoridng to a June 2009 survey by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation. The newest subway station to be opened on the line was the Tameike-Sanno Station, in 1997, providing interchange with the then newly built Namboku Line.
