Isuien Garden is a Japanese garden in Nara, Japan. It covers an area of 13,500 sq meters (145,000 sq ft). Created in the 19th century during the Meiji Period, Isuien Garden originally comprised two separate gardens. It was merged as one in 1939 when a local merchant, Jyunsaku Nakamura, bought it up and combined it to provide space for the Neiraku Museum of Japanese Ceramics.

Isuien Garden is a place to contemplate nature. You can admire ponds with carefully laid rocks. The trees are carefully manicured. At the west pool is the house of Hyoshintei, designed by Kimura Seibei, who used the technique of borrowed landscape, taking advantage of the Todai-ji Temple to the north and Himuro sanctuary to the south.
