Togetsu-kyo is a bridge across the river in Arashiyama district, on the western outskirts of Kyoto, Japan. The name of the bridge means "Moon Crossing Bridge".
The river over which Togetsu-kyo crosses has different names on either sides: the western side is called Hozu River while the eastern side is known as Katsura River.
In summer, an activity that takes place on Togetsu-kyo is ukai, which is fishing by cormorants.
