 Climate of Laos
The climate of Laos is characterised by the monsoons. The rainy season in Laos is from May to November. This is followed by the dry season from December to April.
Best time to visit is the end of the year, from November to beginning of January, which is the winter season or also called the dry season in Laos. That's when you are most assured of clear blue skies. The dry season is also high season for travel to Laos. The other seasons are the hot season, from March to May, when the temperature can soar to 38°C, and the wet season (which is also quite warm), from May to October.
