Namphou Square Travel Info
Namphou Square is a traffic island in Luang Prabang. It is located between Chou Fa Ngum Road and Phothisirath Road. The word "namphou" means fountain, and refers to the fountain in the middle of the square.
I passed by Namphou Square on my way to and from the guesthouse I was staying, and decided to document it as one of the landmarks in Luang Prabang.
If you're going to Luang Prabang, you'd be glad to know that the town is quite small. You can go to most places on foot if you want to. Otherwise, you can also catch a tuk tuk to take you around.
