Wat Tao Hai Travel Information
Wat Tao Hai is a village temple on the eastern bank of the Nam Khan River. It is located close to the Sisavangvong Bridge. Like many of the temples located outside the main portion of Luang Prabang, I had to do a bit of searching to locate it. What I found was a lovely temple - not too big - entered through a temple archway.
The sim is in the Laotian style, with a dok so faa decorating its roof. There are a few other structures in the compound of Wat Tao Hai. My tuk tuk stopped and waited while I explored and took some photographs. There is nothing particularly unique of this temple.
If you're going to Luang Prabang, you'd be glad to know that the town is quite small. You can go to most places on foot if you want to. Otherwise, you can also catch a tuk tuk to take you around. As for accommodation, they range from very simple, basic beds to boutique hotels. You can visit the Luang Prabang Hotels guide for a list of budget accommodation.

How to go to Wat Tao Hai
Wat Tao Hai is located on the eastern bank of the Nam Khan River, after the Sisavangvong Bridge, on the outskirts of Luang Prabang. It is difficult to find, so unless your tuk tuk driver knows the way, you might not be able to get there. If you are determined to go there, find a good map and get a knowledgeable tuk tuk to take you.
