The Macau Cultural Centre is a venue for events, exhibitions and conferences. Inaugurated on 19 March, 1999, the centre is located along Avenida Dr Sun Yat-Sen at the waterfront. It has a total area of 45,000 square meters, and includes a few auditoriums, a garden, and the Museum of Art.

The Grand Auditorium at the Macau Cultural Centre has a sitting capacity of 1,108 people. There is also a smaller auditorium which is suitable for smaller functions and performances.

The Museum of Art is a five-storey wing of the Macau Cultural Centre. It has five exhibition rooms, and is in fact the biggest audio-visual space in Macau. The museum also has a conference room and library.

Getting to Macau Cultural Centre & Museum of Art

Bus 8, 12, 17 and AP1 pass through Avenida Dr Sun Yat-Sen.
