About A Famosa Golf Resort


A Famosa Golf Resort is part of A Famosa Resort. It is a 1,300-acre golf course designed by Australian golf-course architect, Ross C. Watson. The A Famosa Golf Resort comprises three 9-hole courses named Crocodile Course, Palm Course and Rocky Course. The golf course, which is regarded as one of the top ten courses in the country, has won several awards:

  • “Best Resort Course” 2002, 2003 in Malaysia by The Golf Malaysia Magazine
  • “Top Ten Golf Course” 2002 in Malaysia by The Golf Malaysia Magazine
  • “The 2nd Best Resort Golf Course in Malaysia, 2007/2008” by Golf Malaysia Magazine
  • “The Best Golf Resort in Malaysia, 2006/07” by Expatriate Lifestyle Magazine
  • "The 17th Best Golf Course in Malaysia, 2007/2008” by Golf Malaysia Magazine
The green rates are RM206 for 9 holes and RM306 for 18 holes. Same rates applied for weekdays and weekends. Buggy rate is RM70 twin sharing. Tee off is from 7:15 am to 9:30 am and 12:30 pm to 3:15 pm for the 18 holes, and 7:15 am to 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm for 9 holes.

In addition to golfing, the resort also has a massage centre. Angelic Massage Centre provides foot and body massage services between 2:00 pm and 2:00 am. The session of body or foot massage costs RM59 at the centre. Room service is also available. A 2-hour massage costs RM108 at the centre and RM128 for room service.
