Anak Bukit is a small town in Kedah. It is located on the northern bank of Sungai Kedah, to the north of Alor Setar and can be considered one of the developing suburbs of the capital city. Anak Bukit is located within the Kota Setar District.

Anak Bukit is regarded as a Kedah royal town, as the Sultan of Kedah has its royal palace and official residence here.

Getting there

Exit the North-South Expressway (E1) at Exit 180, the Kepala Batas Interchange. Take Federal Route 1, here known as Jalan Anak Bukit south the town.
