Bahagian Hal Ehwal Undang-Undang Building, Putrajaya, is located in precinct 3 the core island which is also known as 'civic and cultural precinct'. Lot 3g1 is 2.17 acres and is flanked by Pjc Hq on the east, the future Grand Mosque on the North West and bordering the civic plaza which is a continuation of the 'Qiblat Axis From Poj to the Grand Mosque on the north. The design of the building is based on the Neo-Raj palace with architectural expression of colonnades, portico, archways and screens.

A prominent feature of the Bahagian Hal Ehwal Undang Undang is the fair faced brick facade in 3 tones and the 'Ulam Raja Kerawang 'motifs act as a screen at all window openings. Generally, the expression of the building reflects a building designed for our tropical climate with distinct local features and fenestration design which also gives strong suggestions of our Malaysian identity.

The design component consist of :
Astaka - adopted from a stylized Malay Palace building depicting the neo-raj style consisting of a four level structure Offices and secretariat - tower block clad in sand stone coating and facing brick highlights. Landscaped court - visual and communal focal points.

In general, the podium block of 4 and 6 storeys surrounding a tower block of 10 storeys at the south and 3 levels of basement car park.

The total GFA is 30000 sqm and NFA of 15000 sqm building will be occupied by Bahagian Hal Ehwal Undang-Undang Jabatan Perdana Menteri
