Bangi is a township in the Hulu Langat district in the southeast of Selangor. It is located. This is until a few decades ago a rural part of Selangor, covered by oil palm plantations.

Bangi is located between Kajang and Putrajaya. The township of Bandar Baru Bangi is located to the north of the town of Bangi. In between Bandar Baru Bangi and Bangi is the campus of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Bangi.

Among the sights in the Bandar Baru Bangi area is the Bangi Golf Resort, an 18-hole golf course, and the 5-star Hotel Equatorial. To the north of Bandar Baru Bangi is Country Heights, an upscale residential neighbourhood in Kajang.

How to reach Bangi & Bandar Baru Bangi

Take the North-South Expressway Southern Route and exit at the Bangi Interchange (Exit 212) to reach Bandar Baru Bangi, or the Putra Mahkota Interchange (Exit 213) to reach Bangi.
