 Batang Berjuntai, Selangor
Batang Berjuntai is a small town in Kuala Selangor District, Selangor.
The name Batang Berjuntai means "dangling branch". Unfortunately the self-righteous powers-that-be considered such the innocent name too graphic for dirty minds, and in 2007, changed it to the uninspiring Bestari Jaya. Bestari Jaya isn't a popular choice, and most people continue to call the place Batang Berjuntai. The name remains as such on highway signages along the North South Expressway.
Batang Berjuntai is the location for Universiti Industri Selangor.
