Batu Berendam is a town in Melaka Tengah District, Malacca. It is best known as the site of the Batu Berendam Airport, the only civilian airport in Malacca.

Also known as the Malacca International Airport (MKZ), the airport in Batu Berendam was established in 1952. The airport was upgraded between 2006 and 2009 to allow it to receive bigger aircrafts such as the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320. The airport terminal was also rebuilt to international standards. It was officially opened in May 2009. When prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak visited the airport in February, 2010, he renamed it the Malacca International Airport.

The Malacca International airport receives flights by Firefly (Batam, Pekanbaru, Medan, Kota Bharu and from Nov 2011, Penang), Riau Airlines (Pekanbaru) and Wings Air (Pekanbaru). AirAsia has expressed interest in using the airport but as of time of writing (Aug 2011), has not commenced operations there.

Apart from the airport, Batu Berendam is also known for its industrial estate. Most of the companies operating there are small and medium-scale industries involved in the manufacture of foodstuff and household products.

If coming from the North South Expressway, take Lebuh Ayer Keroh (M31) and then exit at Jalan Batu Berendam (State Route M1).
