Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve, Kuala Lumpur

Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve is the only protected forest area within the heart of Kuala Lumpur. It covers Bukit Nanas, a hillock within the city. The forest reserve has a forestry museum and visitor centre to learn more about the rain forest.

Today Bukit Nanas is topped with the Kuala Lumpur Tower. It has an observation deck and revolving restaurant at the top. Also situated on Bukit Nanas are St John's Institution and Convent Bukit Nanas, two schools established during the British colonial era. St John's Institution is gazetted as a National Heritage Site.
