About Bukit Padang

Bukit Padang is a neighbourhood in Kota Kinabalu. It is located some 9 km to the east of the city centre. Among the sights here includes Hospital Mesra, a hospital for the mentally unstable, and Sekolah Menengah Sains Sabah, one of the most prestigious boarding schools in the state. Kinabalu International School is also at Bukit Padang, as is Tun Fuad Stephens Park is a popular jogging and hiking spot for the people of Kota Kinabalu.

Bukit Padang is named after the hill in the area, which rises to a height of 140 meters and affords a splendid view of the city below.
