About Changkat Jering
Changkat Jering is a small town to the south of Taiping. The village of Changkat Jering is located near the junction of Federal Route 1, the old trunk road, with Jalan Air Kuning. However, housing estates have been developed around the area which are all regarded as part of Changkat Jering. Among them are Taman Desa Changkat and Taman Changkat Permai.
Getting there
Changkat Jering is easily accessed from the North South Expressway (E2) through the Changkat Jering Interchange (Exit 146).
