 Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur
Chow Kit is a neighbourhood in Kuala Lumpur. It is the area along Chow Kit Road, between Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman and Jalan Raja Laut, and includes the small lanes in the area such as Lorong Chow Kit, Lorong Haji Taib 1, 2 and 3.
The Chow Kit area has a seedy character being one of the notorious red light district of the city. During the day, there is a big (apparently the biggest in the inner city) wet market in the Chow Kit area. At night, there are night market stalls selling clothes and trinkets.
