About Donggongon
Donggongon is a town near Kota Kinabalu. It is the main town within the district of Penampang, to the east of the Kota Kinabalu city centre. With the continuous expansion of Kota Kinabalu, Donggongon has been absorbed as a suburb of the city.
There is a tamu or farmer's market held in Donggongon every Thursday and Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, so that would be the best time for tourists to visit.
