 Galeria Perdana is located 11 km from Kuah town, in Kilim, on the northeastern part of Langkawi. It houses over 2,500 pieces of state gifts, awards, prizes and souvenirs received by the Right Honourable former Prime Minister of Malaysia, the Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife, the Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali. Tun Dr. Mahathir has said that these soucenirs and honors are not his personal belongings because they belong to the Government and people of Malaysia. Galeria Perdana is a showcase as well as an expression of Dr. Mahathir's gratitude towards all those who have honored him and his wife.
