The Industrial Court or Mahkamah Perusahaan is housed in a building originally belonging to one of Kuala Lumpur's first multimillionaires, Loke Yew. It was designed by AK Moosdeen, who also did Loke Yew's shophouse along Medan Pasar.

The building was completed in 1905. The Malay Mail described it at the time of completion as one of the handsomest edifice of its kind ever erected in Kuala Lumpur.
