Ipoh Elken Building, Ipoh
Ipoh Elken Building was formerly the Merchantile Bank Building. It is located at No. 15 Jalan Maharaja Lela (formerly Station Road). This four-storey building was built in the Art Deco style in 1931. It was built for the Merchantile Bank of India, which was eventually bought over by HSBC. Guthrie & Co also had its offices here.
The building is today occupied by the Ipoh headquarters of Elken, a multi-level marketing company.
