The Indian Muslim Mosque or Masjid India Muslim, is an old mosque of the Hanafi sect located along Clayton Road (today Jalan S.P. Seenivasagam). It was founded by Sheikh Adam, a member of the Tamil Indian community of southern India, in 1908. Also known as the town Padang Mosque, the Indian Muslim Mosque was constructed by workmen from India, at the cost of $500,000.

The distinctive arches are of Chitya Indian or Moghul Style, similar in design to the Diwan-i-Khas of the Red Fort in Delhi.

Sheikh Adam is a local Indian Muslim tycoon who established, among others, the Kinta Ice Works and the Kinta Aerated Water Factory. The road beside the Birch Memorial Tower is Jalan Sheikh Adam, named after him.
