Langkawi is an archipelago comprising a few big islands surrounded by clusters of tiny islets. With about one hundred islands in the group, the Langkawi archipelago has more islands than the rest of Kedah. Apart from the main island and a few of the smaller ones, most of the islets of the Langkawi archipelago remains uninhabited. The following is a list of the islands of the Langkawi archipelago. I have added more details to the more important islands with hyperlinks. To help identify the location of the islets, I group them according to their location against any main island.
