Jalan Chow Kit, or Chow Kit Road, is a short shopping road in Kuala Lumpur. It runs from Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman to Jalan Raja Laut, from where it continues as Jalan Putra.

Within the short length of some 600 feet of Jalan Chow Kit is one of the busy streets of Kuala Lumpur. It caters mostly to the working class shoppers. Alleyways off Jalan Chow Kit leads to the seedier part of Kuala Lumpur, with its inofficial red light district.

During the day as well as night, the road and adjacent Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman is busy with shoppers going to the market and at night, the night market or pasar malam.

How to reach Jalan Chow Kit

Take the KL Monorail to the Chow Kit Monorail Station, located above Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. From the station, walk south along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman for a short distance to reach Jalan Chow Kit.
