Jalan Damansara, Kuala Lumpur

Jalan Damansara Jalan Damansara is a road on the western part of the city centre of Kuala Lumpur. The main section of the road is a six-lane boulevard connecting Jalan Istana with Lebuhraya Mahameru, and is part of the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 1. Near the start of Lebuhraya Mahameru, Jalan Damansara continues as a minor road into the hills, where Galeria Sri Perdana is located.
I will describe Jalan Damansara from south to north, beginning with the interchange at Jalan Istana. From there, it crosses the Klang River, and continues towards the interchange with Jalan Tun Sambanthan. Among the sights in the vicinity here includes the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and KL Sentral.
Leaving the Jalan Tun Sambanthan interchange, Jalan Damansara passes Muzium Negara on the left, and Planetarium Negara along with Muzium Negara, Pusat Islam Malaysia, Yayasan Al-Bukhary, Muzium Kesenian Islam, Muzium Polis Diraja Malaysia, all within the vicinity of the Lake Gardens. Taman Tasik Perdana next comes to view on the left side of Jalan Damansara. On the left, at Jalan Persekutuan, is Istana Hinggap Negeri Sembilan, while on the right side is Carcosa Seri Negara. Further down the road, at Jalan Kelantan, is Istana Kedah.
Jalan Damansara becomes Lebuhraya Mahameru at the bend where Carcosa Seri Negara is on the right side of the boulevard.
