Jalan Tun Tan Siew Sin is a street in the inner city of Kuala Lumpur. It was originally known during the British colonial times as Cross Street. It was renamed in honour of Tun Tan Siew Sin, the first Minister of Commerce and Industry of Malaya, and then for the subsequent 15 years (1959-1974), the Finance Minister. Tun Tan Siew Sin also served as the third president of the Malayan Chinese Association, or MCA, a political party that forms the ruling alliance in the Federal Government.
