Kepala Batas is a small rural town in Kedah. It is located on the northern part of Kedah, in Kubang Pasu District, and should not be confused with the Kepala Batas of Seberang Perai, Penang. The name Kepala Batas means the main bund on the paddy field.

Getting there

Exit the North South Expressway (E1) at the Jitra South Interchange, Exit 181. Kepala Batas town is on Federal Route 1 beside the expressway.
