About KK Esplanade

Kota Kinabalu Esplanade, or KK Esplanade, is a waterfront promenade in downtown Kota Kinabalu. The second at Sinsuran is called Anjung Senja, or Waterfront Esplanade. This section has side walk cafes (I wonder whether it is practical to sit here under the hot sun). With the off shore reclaimed, you look out and see, not the sea, but Sutera Harbour with its golf course right out there.

The Esplanade area continues north, passing the Filipino Market and Handicraft Market, through the Central Market area, towards Hyatt Regency and Wisma Merdeka.
