Kuah Travel Guide introduces the essentials for visiting Kuah, the main town in Langkawi. Kuah is located on the southeastern part of the island, and is where visitors arrive by ferry. Formerly a fishing village, Kuah today has hotels, business complexes, banks, duty-free shops, emporiums and malls. There isn't a true beach at Kuah. However, there are a few sightseeing places closeby, including Dataran Lang (Eagle Square), Taman Lagenda Theme Park, Makam Mahsuri, Langkawi Golf Club, Al-Hana Mosque and the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club.
