Lakehouse is a Tudor-style country inn located beside Sultan Abu Bakar Lake in Ringlet, Cameron Highlands. It was built in 1972, and is bigger than the more famous Ye Olde Smokehouse. Although Sultan Abu Bakar Lake is not very scenic, luckily there is Lakehouse, which is a truly charming inn.

I paid a visit to Lakehouse on one of my trips to Cameron Highlands with some members of AsiaExplorers. Prices of rooms here is not cheap, as you would expect, but it's really a place to pamper one's self once in a while.

The interior has an almost Shaker simplicity to it.
