Lata Bayu, also known as Lata Asam Jawa, is a waterfall in the Baling district of Kedah. It is located within a forest recreational area called Hutan Lipur Lata Asam Jawa / Hutan Lipur Lata Bayu. As you approach the place, you see the Asam Jawa sign, but when you arrive, you realise that it is also called Lata Bayu.

Lata Bayu is popular among the locals who go there to play with the water. It is particularly crowded during the Kedah weekends, which fall on Fridays and Saturdays.
