Lata Iskandar is a beautiful waterfall between Tapah and Cameron Highlands. It is located within the Lata Iskandar Recreational Forest (Hutan Lipur Lata Iskandar). The waterfall cascades down the barren mountain slope flanked on both sides by vegetation, and empties itself in a pool before cascading down a stream. A fallen log rests unceremoniously on the pool, somewhat marring the otherwise perfect scenery.

I paid a visit to Lata Iskandar on one of my trips to Cameron Highlands with some members of AsiaExplorers. The journey from Cameron Highlands to Lata Iskandar was pretty long, and one of the members was car sick throughout the journey - pity her. If you are not visiting Lata Iskandar, I would recommend that you descend from Cameron Highlands using the Brinchang - Simpang Pulai road.
