Lata Kinjang, whose name means cascading falls, is one of the most majestic waterfalls in Malaysia. Visible from along the North South Expressway, Lata Kinjang is accessible from the Tapah Exit, and is about 18km from Tapah town.
The main attraction of Lata Kinjang is the multi-tiered waterfall that cascades for 100m down the side of the mountain. The whole falls at Lata Kinjang is said to total 850m (2850ft) in height! The district is home to several orang asli settlement. One may wade or swim in the many recess pools into which the cascades empty. A scrubby row of foodstalls and an orchid garden is located at the bottom of the falls.
