About Lubok Antu
Lubok Antu is a small town in the Sri Aman Division of Sarawak. It is also the district centre for the Lubok Antu District. Lubok Antu is located in the southern part of Sarawak, just a short distance from the border with Kalimantan, Indonesia.
The Lubok Antu district has a population of over 22,000 people, of which over 85% are Ibans. Chinese form the biggest minority group in the district, accounting for 10% of the population.
Among the attractions in Lubok Antu includes Batang Ai National Park and Wong Ajong Waterfall. Apart from that, it is still a very much rural town based on shift farming.
