The Masjid al-Nabawi of Taman Tamadun Islam, Kuala Terengganu, is a replica of a famous Islamic monument in Medina, Saudi Arabia. Masjid al-Nabawi is the biggest mosque in Medina and the second biggest in the world after Masjid al-Haram of Mecca.

The significance of Masjid al-Nabawi stemmed for it being originally built by Prophet Muhammad himself, on a site next to his house. He died in the house he shared with his wife Aisha. The site of that house is now part of Masjid al-Nabawi, which also includes the tomb of Muhammad.
