The Mersing Town Roundabout is where all the major roads in Mersing meet. These include Jalan Ismail, the main commercial street of Mersing; Jalan Abu Bakar, the road that leads to the seaside; Jalan Endau, the road that leads north to Endau; and Jalan Jemaluang, the road that leads south to Kota Tinggi. Both Jalan Endau and Jalan Jemaluang are part of Route 3, the East Coast Trunk Road that goes all the way from Johor Bahru to Rantau Panjang in the north.
The District Council of Mersing (Majlis Daerah Mersing) has beautified the roundabout by constructing a stainless steel monument in the shape of a fish at the roundabout. Above the roundabout is the Mersing Sign which is located on a hill, while below it, are two temples, the Hock Soon Temple and Sri Subramaniam Temple.
