About Miri Crocodile FarmMiri Crocodile Farm is in Kuala Baram, about 22 km north from Miri, Sarawak. It is located near the estuary of the Baram River.There are a thousand crocodiles at the farm, which covers an area of 22 acres. They belong to two species, the estuarine crocodile, (Crocodylus porosus), and the Malayan Gharial (Tomistoma schlegelii). The crocodiles are kept in natural breeding enclosures and man-made ponds. Visitors can safely walk around the perimeter of these ponds and enclosures. The Miri Crocodile Farm is open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily. Visitors can view crocodile feeding on Sundays and public holidays at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm. In addition to the crocodiles, the farm also has a mini zoo where you can view a variety of exotic creatures including the sun bear, gibbon, cassoway and python.
