Ong Kee Bean Sprout Chick Restaurant is a famous bean sprout chicken restaurant in Ipoh. It is located along Jalan Yau Tet Shin, at the junction with Jalan Dato Tahwil Azar (Osborne Street).

 Ong Kee Restaurant is located right across from its immediate competitor, Lou Wong. Both restaurants vie for the title of being the "best bean sprout chicken restaurant in Ipoh New Town and Old", and so far, the votes are split.

There are customers that swear by Ong Kee bean sprout chicken while others great devotees of Lou Wong. Having tried both, I have to diplomatically say that both are equally tasty, and a meal at either of them helps you get a generous intake of soy sauce, oil and MSG.
