Palace of Justice, or Kompleks Kehakiman dan Mahkamah, is one of the most beautiful buildings in Putrajaya. It is located midway between the Putrajaya Convention Centre and the Perdana Putra Building. Reminiscent of the Taj Mahal, the Palace of Justice brings elements of Mughal architecture of India to the federal capital of Malaysia.
The Palace of Justice consists of a 5-storey main building, with a two-storey wing on either side. It is topped by a quincunx of domes. The main dome in the middle measures 32 metres in diameter and 34.15 metres in height. The four domes at the four corners of the main dome measures 12.72 metres in diameter and 12.94 metres in height.
The main building is finished with granite while its domes are covered with mosaic. All the material used to build the Palace of Justice is sourced locally, except for the fabrics. It has a total floor area of 71,913 square metres. Housed within it are six Courts of Appeals, two Federal Courts and 20 judge's chambers.
