About Parit Raja
Parit Raja is a small town in the Batu Pahat District of Johor. It is approximately 10 km to the southwest of Ayer Hitam, and is linked to it by Route 50 that goes all the way to Kluang. The same road, going in the other direction, takes you to the town of Batu Pahat.
The name Parit Raja means "King's Canal" the most likely refers to a canal that used to be located there. The town was established by Javanese settlers who are the predominant group there.
Getting There
Exit the North South Expressway at Exit 244 (Air Hitam Interchange) and then take Route 50 in the direction away from Kluang.
