The Penang Immigration Department Building or Bangunan Jabatan Immigresen is an impressive double storey building which was built in 1890, originally to house the administrative office of the Central Police Station. The ground floor features an imitation of rustication and keystoning at the arches. The top of the building features moulded cornice underlining a balustered parapet.
