About Persiaran Putra, Langkawi
Persiaran Putra is the main road through Kuah Town in Langkawi. It begins at the Kuah Jetty, and ends at the junction with Jalan Padang Matsirat and Jalan Ayer Hangat.
Persiaran Putra was named in honour of the late Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj, the first prime minister of Malaysia who was instrumental in developing Pulau Langkawi. Most of the government offices of Langkawi is located along or within the vicinity of Persiaran Putra.
