Pulau Beras Basah is a small island to the south of Pulau Langkawi. It is also to the west of Pulau Singa Besar, and is one of the islands that is visited on island hopping tours of the Langkawi Archipelago.

The name Pulau Beras Basah means Island of Wet Rice. It probably got this name because islanders there used to spread rice in the ground to dry it. Pulau Beras Basah has two stretched of clean white beach which are simply glorious on sunny days. The one facing Pulau Singa Besar has a pier to it, and is usually the stopover point for the island-hopping boats. Selat Simpang Tiga separates the two islands.

The northern tip of Pulau Beras Basah is called Tanjong Tok Kaya Along. From here, you can see two island to the north, Pulau Kentut Kecil and Pulau Kentut Besar.
